Arkas Mattheys Mansion is reopening its doors to remind us of our past by transforming it into a new art and experience center that combines the cultures of its geography with the present.
Built in 1780 by the British John Maltass, the restoration of the Mattheys Mansion was initiated by Arkas Holding in 2018 and completed in 2023. Meticulous gardens were as important as the buildings themselves in the Bornova mansions. Along with the restoration works, the garden of the mansion was also renewed with landscaping. The cistern and barn sections in Mattheys Gardens were restored and converted into Arkas Arcademia with three different halls A1, A2, A3 for events and training.
As the creative agency for Mattheys Mansion, we took on the exciting responsibility of creating the “Arkas Arcademia” brand.
The services we provided for Arkas Mattheys Mansion included design and content for their corporate identity, website, promotional videos, prestige catalogs, outdoor signboard design and production. We also developed a communication strategy for the brand.
